It’s officially the Fall season and I am so happy. I sometimes get just a tad too psyched on Makeup during this time of year. I’m not sorry for it. I feel like this is the season I tend to get more inspired than normal, and I always welcome that wholeheartedly! I love cooler weather. I love to be outside. I love rain. I love chilled days and hot tea. So many awesome and happy things come with this time of year. So let’s “makeup” accordingly, shall we?!
Here is a list of all the shadows I used to create my first Fall look of the year!

Happy Hump Day to everyone! Half way through the week and I was feeling super sassy today, and by sassy I mean really moody and kind of hormonal if I can be quite honest soooo, makeup to match, yeah? Yeah.

I went full glam on this Monday. One of the keys to a good eye look is to not just use one shadow, but to use several (or in my case, more than a few several) in order to give your eye shadow lots of dimension. Don’t be afraid to layer, and layer, and layer, and blend it out until your hand falls off!
Shadows shown above from L2R:
Large Shadows (ColourPop): I Heart This (inner corner MVP) • On the Rocks
Small Pans (MakeupGeek Singles): Burlesque • Bitten • Barcelona Beach • Mocha • Bada Bing • Hipster • Latte
Lippie Stix (ColourPop): Trixie

I finally decided to quit being a total pansy, and busted out the falsies. I have a ton of them just sitting around on my vanity and they never get used because I always tell myself things like “they’re too tedious” or “they’ll be too difficult for me to get on” but it’s all nonsense. I threw these bad boys on yesterday in only about 3-4 extra minutes! I find that letting your glue get plenty tacky and using tweezers is such key. False lashes are life, and I wish I could have them just permanently glued to my eye lids forever. Here’s a super simple, neutral look that works for pretty much any “everyday” occasion.
I used all MakeupGeek shadows as per yoozsh, with a ColourPop shadow (I ♥ This) on my inner corner. I winged out my liner, applied some Ardell lashes, threw on some brows, and called it a day.

As a side note, this is my 2nd order from Glitter Injections and I just keep falling more and more in luffffff. This is their glitter in ‘M A R I P O S A‘ – I can’t even deal.

One of the first things I typically do in the morning when my alarm goes off at 4AM is unlock my phone, and take a look at what’s happening on the interwebs. I like to read the goings-on of the world at the start of each particular day, if you will. A few weeks ago I was doing this and when I finally made my way over to FB, THERE WAS MY EYEBALL!

When I don’t have anything creative going on in my head for makeup, or even if I just know that I want to wear it that day but don’t necessarily care to have to think about what “type” of look I should do, I do this. It’s four shadows, and it doesn’t require any thinking on my part…which, lets just be real, is always a plus before I’ve had my coffee. I use all MakeupGeek shadows for this (click the link to shop their site). It’s super simple, takes no thought, and this is just about as neutral as it gets!
(Shadows from left to right)
• Vanilla Bean
• Ice Queen
• Barcelona Beach (this shadow is my total freakin’ jam right now. It’s the perfect shade for everyday use!)
