As always, I’ll make this super brief. Super simple….
I’m pretty much obsessed with this company. I made my first purchase about 9 months ago and I was blown away by so many things. Customer service being first on the list. I’ve since made more orders from ColourPop than I care to publicly admit, but I will tell you this; I’ve never waited longer than 7 days before I received my order in the mail, nothing has ever come to me broken, and they leave hand-written notes for you…need I say anything else? Second, is obviously the product itself and the unreal quality and pigmentation you get. These babies stay ON and don’t budge. I always receive compliments from strangers when I wear the Super Shock shadows, they’re way too intense to ignore, but not “too much” for everyday wear. Third, THE PRICES. Not only are these products amazing, and cruelty-free, but the prices_are_RIGHT, you guys. $5 dollar shadows and lippie stix, $8 dollar blushes, highlighters, and bronzers….like, come on, let’s get real. If you’ve been on the fence about making an order, I encourage you to please hop off, and just do it.
These are my top five most favorite shadows, in no particular order:
L to R
Liberty: The most insane and pigmented, true silver that I have EVER seen.
Bae: There’s nothing to say about this shade. It’s genuinely Bae…100% truth.
Hammered: The most beautiful cool-tone deep bronze color with deep green/brown undertones. I die.
So Quiche: A super neutral light bronzy color with the most legitimate amount of lavender flecks.
Mooning: The most perfect warm brown you’ve ever seen.

I’ve been getting quite a bit of people lately commenting or asking questions about what I’m doing that’s making my skin so “clear” or “flawless”. First of all, that word in general makes me uncomfortable lol. No ones skin is perfect and without flaw 100% of the time….. BUT, I do have an answer to their questions nonetheless, and it’s not usually an answer they’re expecting.

I finally decided to quit being a total pansy, and busted out the falsies. I have a ton of them just sitting around on my vanity and they never get used because I always tell myself things like “they’re too tedious” or “they’ll be too difficult for me to get on” but it’s all nonsense. I threw these bad boys on yesterday in only about 3-4 extra minutes! I find that letting your glue get plenty tacky and using tweezers is such key. False lashes are life, and I wish I could have them just permanently glued to my eye lids forever. Here’s a super simple, neutral look that works for pretty much any “everyday” occasion.
I used all MakeupGeek shadows as per yoozsh, with a ColourPop shadow (I ♥ This) on my inner corner. I winged out my liner, applied some Ardell lashes, threw on some brows, and called it a day.

I can’t stop glittering lately. I make no excuses about it.
As a side note, this is my 2nd order from Glitter Injections and I just keep falling more and more in luffffff. This is their glitter in ‘M A R I P O S A‘ – I can’t even deal.

Everyone does Spring a little differently. Some do it with pastels, and bright pinks. But I like to keep it smokey, glam, and sparkley – as always! I wish I could tell you that I’m super great at “light” makeup but……you know I keep it exceptionally real with you guys so, I’ll do no such thing. I do always try to get better at it of course, but I just have a heavy hand by nature so, that’s that. This has been my most favorite go-to look for Spring as of late and I cannot get enough of the MakeupGeek foiled shadow “Showtime”. This shade is the star of the show, hands down…

When I don’t have anything creative going on in my head for makeup, or even if I just know that I want to wear it that day but don’t necessarily care to have to think about what “type” of look I should do, I do this. It’s four shadows, and it doesn’t require any thinking on my part…which, lets just be real, is always a plus before I’ve had my coffee. I use all MakeupGeek shadows for this (click the link to shop their site). It’s super simple, takes no thought, and this is just about as neutral as it gets!
(Shadows from left to right)
• Vanilla Bean
• Ice Queen
• Barcelona Beach (this shadow is my total freakin’ jam right now. It’s the perfect shade for everyday use!)
Yesterday I went super warm. Today I went uber cool. I favor cool tones. I wear both but, I pick cool makeup looks a good 85% of the time. ANYWAY. I used a combination of Mac, MakeupGeek, and ColourPop shadows for today’s eyeballs. Continue reading “Cool Brown Smokey Eye”
