When I saw that Nyx was coming out with a candy-apple blue lipstick, I was all over it.
The fact that it happened to be called ‘Jet Set‘ was just like, a cherry on top of something already amazing and sweet..
This is a:
semi long-wearing lipstick –
with a formula that doesn’t leave your lips with more cracks than the San Andreas fault-line..
Anyway – I picked it up at Ulta about two weeks ago and have been wearing it a couple of times a week since I brought it home. It’s even more pretty in person than I originally thought it looked the first time I saw it on the gram. It’s been giving me major life. With statement colors like this one I prefer to just leave everything else pretty neutral, so any subtle shadows and liquid liner that you own can be used to “recreate” something similar.

I hate the word “wearable” as it relates to something you can or can’t wear. Seriously. Who coined that terminology? It’s pretty awful in my opinion.
Let me tell you how something (anything really), or a lipstick in this particular case, becomes wearable:
– Obtain lipstick.
– Apply lipstick.
Look at you! You are now WEARING blue lipstick. It’s wearable. Just like that. You’re doing it. Go you!
